New project...

I caved in and started a new project.....because this Holly Hobbie project is going to take way too long to even get it to a nice bed topper size. So far it's only about a quarter of the size I'd like it to be..
I really should be working on a UFO, but it's more fun to start something new....😊
I've been struggling to find my mojo again,....when it goes, it takes a lot to get going again,  I'm hoping this will kick start it again....
Looking very pink, a bit too pink for me, but  this might be a nice table topper or bed topper if I have enough of the pink fabric......to gift someone.
I had the 2" scrappy squares in my stash , I could also use them for a scrappy outer border. I think that would help tone down the pink.

Until next time....take care.
Hugs. Julia....💕

  2. The Holly Hobbie hexie project is so sweet. I admire your tenacity.
Fun scrappy stars. When you said it was too pink I had to look again. It appeared red to me, but I can see now that it is pink. You may be right about toning it down (if you think it needs it), by using the squares in the border.
It is WAY too fun to start new things, and now I am paying a price for my start-itis! : )

  3. Julia, both are darling. The Holly Hobby quilt is going to be wonderful. I love the 4 Patch Star quilt. You know what I say, MoJo is at the fabric store, always things to get excited about there.

  4. They are both pretty. Having more than one project going at a time is a good thing for me. Not only can I switch between knit and crochet when my fingers get tired, I can switch between large and small projects. That makes the larger ones less arduous.

  8. Sometimes a new project is just what you need to re-energize your old projects as well. At least, that's what I tell myself! ;)

sometimes if the MOJO is stubborn, any project of interest is better than worrying about others... it looks great!
