Finished Quilting Gracehaven..

Finished...phew!!
Just so lovely to have Gracehaven quilted and finished....even with Sweet Susie it was quite a task, measuring at 76" x 57"...
I decided not to do too elaborate quilting, as it's to be used and may need laundering from time to time...meandering hearts, and 1/4 inch stitching to outline what I call the circle of life centre piece...meadering over the what I call the stepping stones of lifes journey, to make sure they stay secured in place.
A few hooked feathers around on the diamonds , using my favourite stencil...and a cable around the blue border...
I found this lovely backing fabric on sale for $4 metre...the little flowers look like they are cross-stitched...very sweet.
A label added, just need to write in the details now and present it to the Nursing Home...
Thank you for following me along on this quilts journey...

Hope you had a wonderful  Easter...stay safe.....♥

You and Sweet Susie are quite a team. It looks like you're a brave quilter, mixing quilting designs here and there in the quilt. (me too). That makes the quilting great fun for me.
Sigh!!! Just looking again at the quilt, it's absolutely gorgeous. I enjoyed watching your progress.
