It's a top...ready for quilting!

I stayed up late last night and finally I have my GH quilt sandwiched and pinned ready to quilt..Yay!
I took the top to patchwork today and pinned it on the big tables there....sure beats getting down on the floor to pin....
It really does look lovely...I thought I'd add the same blue fabric for the last border, and also bind it in the blue fabric...It softens and tones down all the bright colours, but is still a happy quilt...
I really love these hexagon blocks. I have used this block before, and it's also great to use up some scrap half square tri's that might be left over from other projects...
Everything just seemed to fit in so well, row by row it grew...just like this quilt was meant to be...
Well, here she is under Sweet Susie ready to go....SS is going to get a good work out the next few days..

Thank you for all the encouraging positive comments....this quilt at times brought out mixed emotions, a few tears as I worked on it....but I'm glad I made it..
Take care...♥
