This and That...

First, I'd like to say a big "Thank You" to those who have been concerned and have been asking after me...I'm fine, really I am....just busy...
Life has been a bit hectic these last couple of weeks and I really didn't have much time to sew, and nothing much to show and write about.
So please excuse me for showing my Trip Around Japan quilt again....this time it's all quilted  and I'm about to add the binding. I've decided to settle for the same blue fabric as in the border for the binding...I think that should finish it off nicely...
Here's a close up of the little fussy cut inserts I added to each centre diamond...

Hope your having a lovely weekend, I kept thinking it was Sunday today...enjoy some time stitching this weekend....♥

Occasionally life gets in the way of the things that we like doing. But when we can we return to the fun stuff. The quilt looks great.

Thinking of you Julia. The quilt is beautiful and I would love to be a fly on the wall and see your friend's face when she sees her gift.

Such a pretty finish, Julia! At first glance, and from a distance, I thought the colors looked mushy, but that's the trouble with a photo... the colors are brilliant! Your addition of blue adds the right touch. It would be great to be able to see it in person.
