Still Tripping Around Japan, ...

A little more tripping around Japan...it's starting to come together very nicely now..
Sorry, it's not a very good picture, but it's way too hot outside right now...yes another hot one today and for the next few days. I'm a sun and summer girl, but it has been a bit much...too hot for too long every day this summer...

This will be as long as I'll make it, with the fussy cut centre pieces down the middle adding a 12" block on both sides, then I'll think about a border.

Hope you are having a great weekend..my thoughts to those in the path of floods here and tornadoes in the states...stay safe...♥

  4. Such a pretty Japan Tripping! :) Lovely. The tornadoes went through the area where our children live, but all is well there today for them. It is so very sad for those whose lives were changed by the storms.

  7. Quilt is looking beautiful. I also posted a message on my blog for my American friends...they are having a terrible time of it.
I saw on the news tonight that WA is cooking at the moment with temperatures expected in the 40's tomorrow...cross my fingers for you that there are no more bush fires.

  10. Your quilt looks great Julia! Isn't this weather amazing, a couple of years ago we were having blocks of 10 days in a row over 40c and this year I don't think we got over 38c once. Now we have been having massive downpours and flooding!
