The quilt looks great Julia, your rugmakes it look like you have added a border already. I am sure you will find the right fabric to finish it.
It looks great and I bet an air conditioned quilting shop would be a good idea to look for a border fabric. Blue sounds lovely, it'll pick up the blues in the top.
beautiful! Ah a trip tot he fabric shop.... wish I were there to go with you. I love the way you added the larger center squares
So nice to see you blogging - I was having a little worry! Your quilt is looking good and yes, you will have to have some retai therapy!hugs Lurline!
I love the rug with your quilt! I thought it was part of the design. OH NO! More shopping?!?!? You poor girl! LOL
Actually, the rug looks pretty nice with your quilt. Have you given thought to repurposing your rug!? Sorry it's so hot there. I can't imagine. We're excited because today it's supposed to reach 67F (19.4C)!
I, too, thought the rug was part of your quilt. Believe it or not, I really like it! Your quilt top is truly gorgeous and it will be fun to see it finished.
Followed you on your trip around Japan and I love how it turned out.Blue would be lovely I think.Have a nice weekend, groetjesAnnemieke
Very nice! I think the indigo borders will be perfect.
Indigo would be perfect!
As the quilt top is lying so perfectly on the rug, I thought you'd selected an unusual, striking fabric for the border. But indigo would be just the border to bring out the blue in your blocks. It's a lovely top. Happy shopping.
Your quilt will be great with the indigo border but I really didn't mind the rug framing it either.
Well done!! At first glance I thought there was a border in place, until I enlarged the photo and realised that it was the rug LOL!!! I think the indigo border you plan will frame it nicely!!!!
Laugh I looked at it and thought that you have added a lovely border to this quilt...
