8 Kaffe Schoolhouses..and a pattern..

Eight houses now...and still building....hardly a dent made in the Kaffe scraps, so I'll just keep on building the houses and see how many I can make...
Very messy..but really great to do, I have been cleaning up as I make each house, or I wouldn't be able to see the floor for all the mess!
I've had a few emails inquiring about the pattern...so I tweeked the pattern a bit to make it easier to put together, if you would like the pattern in PDF form, just leave me a comment..
This is how the foundation paper pattern will look...makes a 5 1/2 x 6  inch block..just print if off and reverse it if you want the houses facing the same way as mine..
..here's a photo of the sections and how I put them together....too easy!..(my son's favourite saying).
In friendship...♥

  5. That truly looks like a labor of love. So many itty bitty pieces for s 5.5" block. Still, very effective.

  6. I went through a foundation paper piecing phase in the mid 90s when Carol Doak came to our local guild and I took her class. Learned how to do it, did it for a while, and haven't touched it again until a couple months ago. I'm longing to get back to more of it. I have a Circle of Geese pattern ready to sew. Now to find some time. Your houses look very nice. The bright colors are terrific. Yes! Do keep going to make more.

  16. The Kaffe fabrics (of which I have none) work well in the houses. Features them without being too cut up.
