New project..Little Red Schoolhouses

I said to myself I wouldn't start something new, but....
...I'm getting a bit tired of just hand quilting the DP's...so this is my next project!
Too cute...not sure how big I'll make this Little Red Schoolhouse quilt, perhaps a nice size wall hanging would be nice....we'll see!

My thoughts go out to those in the path of Hurricane Irene bearing down on the East coast of the States..
Take care, Stay safe ... prayers that everyone will come through this safely....♥

  2. What a lovely project Julia, those reds are just gorgeous!!!
I've been catching up with the news and this hurricane looks to be a bad one, they have advised the evacuation of at least 250,000 people from low lying areas including NY, where the subways have been closed too!!! I hope everyone will be ok too!!

  4. You're going to have fun with that pattern and those pretty reds, Julia.
I'm in the Midwest, far away from Hurricane Irene, thank goodness. The evacuation orders are unique for the areas where they've been given. Prediction is that a total of 65 million people are in its path. Sounds surreal. Hopefully all will stay safe.

  7. This is going to be an awful sweet quilt. I love the red fabrics...this would be such a great gift for a teacher. (Here my mind is thinking of the kiddos even when I'm supposed to be having ME time. Lol*)
