GO Accuquilt...Doll Quilt...

Here is my first project with the GO !...

Sew easy...sew great...sew cute....sew accurate! ...
No trimming, just cut and sew...by placing a main fabric and a background fabric right sides together... after it's cut you just pick up the two together and sew...
I was able to cut 6 layers at the one time
This is what the cut pieces look like...no dog ears to trim off

I put together a 4 1/2 inch pinwheel with alternate little nine patches. ...a little 1/4 inch peeper border in pink and then a 2 1/2 inch background border
I was going to making a bigger quilt where the nine patches would have formed an Irish Chain, but as this was my first play with the cutter, I decided to go smaller and move on to something else..so much I want to do this year!
Yes, I think I'm going to love the GO....
Have a wonderful day...until next time....♥

  14. I'm interested to read your thoughts on the Go cutter. I am contemplating investing in one this year. I've had surgery on both my shoulders and am prone to bone spurs and rotator cuff issues. (I do think that all the rotary cutting I've done has contributed to my problems.) If I can cut down some of my rotary cutting by using one of these I think it will be well worth the money!

  15. Looks so great, Julia! Goodness me - for one who had never done pinwheels you are certainly into it - I can see such a time-saver if it is so accurate. I'm getting a little bit excited about it now!
