Aunt Millie..2 blocks done.

The beginning of a new week and perhaps a couple more flowers may get to grow in Aunt Millie's garden...
Two Aunt Millie blocks done and on the design wall...
I really love this block now, and to think I'm not that fond of orange. The green and purple really made all the difference..

This one also has it's own charm and appeal ...the little bit of yellow/orange to the pink flowers makes it smile...there's that colour again!
Looks like being a busy week ahead...hope you have a good one! ....♥

  8. The first block has purple that catches the eye and I like it. The second has the royal blue which sets it off so well. Good choices.

  13. Dear Julie.
It looks great! I am wondering which needleturn method you use. Do you use freezer paper or some kind of glue? It looks like, you have made drawings af all the shapes to the bagground fabrics? I´m just curious - it looks so beautiful!

  17. Wow Julia!! how fast are you?! It really is a case of the hand is quicker than the eye! These blocks are looking fabulous, I love the colors and the way you have brought out the designs in the fabric with your cutting! I have never used Kaffe's fabrics, although I do have some, I always think there is a trick when cutting them, is there?? I can't wait to see this finished - it is going to be amazing! Hope you are having a great week!
