Aunt Millie update...

The orange Aunt Millie block is coming together nicely..
A little bit of green and purple makes all the difference...still a bit bright for me but it's growing on me! ....♥

Do you have a sweet tooth like me ...or love to bake bread...pop on over to my son Joe's recipe blog and check out the "to die for" Mini Chocolate Lava Cakes and Olive & Garlic Bread Rolls. While your there for something different...check out the Spiced Coffee Rub to marinate your meat with before roasting or cooking on the B-B -Q..

Friday already...we're in for a lovely summery couple of days...so nice to have some sunshine at last...have a lovely weekend ♥..

  2. I already copied and pasted and emailed that chocolate lava recipe to myself and my great-granddtr-in-law. Your son is awesome. I was going to do the bread recipe, but I haven't changed it to cups and tablespoons yet, lol.
    The block is absolutely wonderful.

  4. Hi Julia, the addition of the green and purple really anchored the colors - it's very pretty.

I've been reading all of Joe's new posts and the yummy sounding recipes. Makes me hungry!!!

Hope your weather remains lovely for the weekend. Love to you and Reno, Mildred

  10. Yopur block is wonderful and when you've got a few done and seen them together, they'll look fabulous. If it doesn't grow on you, I'm sure you have plenty of family to take it off your hands.
I'm off to Joes, I've been baking all our bread for ages now.

  15. The background dilutes the strength of the colours and it is looking verrrrrrry nice.
I bought zucchinis today to make Joes Zucchini and feta tart. The lave cakes look sensational but will have to wait!
