This and That...

Still no sewing getting done here...but I do have something in mind...yes, I think the motivation is coming back, just waiting to hear back from an inquiry I have made!
In the meantime, here is a scarf I have started to crochet. At first I had trouble getting started, I just could not get the ripple effect working, but with some help from my friend Melanie, I'm on my way...thanks so much Mel.
Some more clam shells done....and as I said the motivation is coming back!
I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them...but now... another friend has planted a thought that really appeals to me, so all steam ahead with the clam shells...can't wait to have enough now to go with the thought...

To finish off this post... Here's a lovely table runner one of the Tuesday patchwork girls is working on....Desa, hasn't been quilting for very long, but isn't that a great runner for a beginner to have pieced, she has done a beautiful job on it, I love the colours...
Happy stitching..take care...♥

  1. I love your scarf. The yarn is divine. If you keep showing the clam shells I might just have to undertake such a labour intensive, patience requiring project. They are so pretty.

  9. The scarf is very pretty Julia, hope you finish it soon so that you can wear it in this cold winter. I have read several blogs of people who have "misplaced" their motivation - the common denominator is "winter".
Glad to hear the desire is coming back. Please pass on my compliments to the table runner maker.
