Non Birthday Party Fun...

What a great fun day we had yesterday celebrating our Non Birthday Party...our day of fun , being silly and enjoying ourselves!
Margaret who is kneeling down organized it all...she has a wonderful sense of fun and a great knack for organizing a great time...
We told jokes, we were given a fun gold medal to wear around our neck and if we mentioned the word "BIRTHDAY" we would lose our medal to the first person that heard us say it...the one with the most medals at the end of the party was given a prize...which Melanie ( wearing blue top) won, it was a beautiful scarf.
Margaret made this yummy little birthday cup cakes...one for each of us..
You may have seen on TV the new game show called "Minute to Win it "...they play this game where one has to hang 7 wire coat hangers from under each other without them falling off...here's Golda doing a great job of it...check out the concentration!I bombed out only after hanging 4 hangers....certainly not a Gold medal effort here...and yes, I did lose my gold medal soon after this game! Sandra here did really well and managed to do all 7 hangers...as did a couple of the other girls.
We had so much fun....Margaret said if we really did have 2 birthdays a year we would all be well into our 130th + birthdays by now...only good thing about that would be to have more time to do all the things we would like to do !!!
I received a beautiful every day Journal with little says at the bottom of some of the pages.
Thank you so much girls and thank you Margaret for organizing a great day....
I just have to add this little quote from the journal...I love it!
" True friends are those, when you make a fool of yourself, don't believe this condition is permanent" ... smile!
Until next time..take care...♥

  7. True friends are those who still love you even when you have made a fool of yourself. You all look like you had a great time. The Queen has two birthdays so why can't we? It should be compulsory. Being a grown up is sometimes hard work so being a child occasionally resets the balance. Hope the fun feeling continues.
    Love Shirley.

  16. Hi Julia
Great party! Obviously you all enjoy each others company, isn't it wonderful! Laughter is a cure for so much - nice to see. Also, thankyou for your help with my blog, much appreciated. I can completely understand the non-birthday party idea - I will be 50 on the 29th, oh no.........
    bye for now,
    Helen
