Big Finish !...

Ta Dah...a big finish for July !..
What a beautiful sight ...Here's my lovely Dresden and Dolly quilt on the line drying...it's all quilted and washed.
As you can see the sun hasn't come up on over the quilt yet, and it's so cold outside, but OMG it feels so good to have this finished..
I have been on a mission...hand-quilting this solid for the last few days...my poor hands are sure feeling it now with this cold weather and all, but it's finished...and how lovely does this look on our bed. The cross-hatch quilting is one inch apart, the border and dollies are quilted with a swag and teardrop design.
Now, to make a couple of pillows covers to match.....one day soon!
Have a great day, I'm off to patchwork this morning...I wonder how I would go sewing with gloves on....fingerless gloves should work!....♥

  3. Congrats Julia! It surely is a masterpiece. It looks beautiful on the bed.

About 2 years ago when I first started blogging, you found my blog because of a civil war house I posted about. Yesterday I posted another story about the same house if you and Reno get a chance to look at it. (More Magnolia Memories is the title)
