It's Arrived...It's raining wool !

Wouldn't you know it...as soon as I started the African Flower hexies... my new wool arrived !...

My friend Jenni and I had a great day out, doing girlie stuff...then we did lunch and talked so much, the day just went way too quickly, before we knew it it was time to go home...
When I got home my wool parcels had arrived...oh, my goodness, I didn't think I bought that much...This lot should keep me out of trouble...
I'll be well into a rocking chair by the time I use it all up!

I finally broke out of my comfort zone of "black goes with everything" and bought a lovely new colourful bag that was on sale....Jenni made me do it! I love it and really needed this little nudge to go for it!...
There's sales everywhere , it would be so easy to do some serious damage to the purse balance!

Now back to " what's for dinner tonight"...
Take care...♥

  1. You are starting a serious wool stash there Julia, if you're not careful it'll be bread and jam for dinner, just kidding. The trouble is the wool is getting nicer and the colours are so gorgeous, it's hard to resist.

  14. I know what you mean about the black purse thing. I just bought myself a turquoise purse and I love it!

P.S. You're inspiring me to pull out my yarn again after 13 years of nonstop quilting.

  18. A girl can never have enough pink handbags. You can always hide your stash in it if you decide you don't like it. Enjoy the wool.
