Granny Flower Squares...

After a bit of shopping around, I was at last able to source some cream yarn....it's not an expensive yarn, but it'll do for a play and practice of my granny flower squares.

They really are fun and easy to do...just took me a little while to get back into the swing of crocheting again.
I have had a few comments from girls asking about the pattern...so I've had a go at putting it in a PDF file for you to download...here it is....please let me know if the link does not work...

Big thanks to Golda ( no blog ) for helping me get started on my Granny Flower Squares... see Golda's beautiful Granny Squares in the previous post
I'm sure Golda would love to see how you go on making one...I would too!

Enjoy....♥

  4. I like Golda's Granny Squares with the raised flower. Are your squares crocheted together or sewn?

  6. Ah, these bring back memories of my brief foray into crocheting! I did a workshop somewhere years ago, and we all did a stack of lovely granny squares. I think everyone else made theirs into rugs or vests or whatever, but mine are still in a plastic bag at the bottom of my stash cupboard...I never learned how to join them up! I forget how to crochet now, and I've never been able to knit :-(

  7. I think your granny squares are a great thing to work on in the warmer months. No yard laying on your lap because each block is small. They look wonderful
