Finished...

Sorry for the poor quality of this photo...it's a very dull and grey day today...storms have been threatening, but thankfully all we've had is much needed rain..

I know, your going to say, "what about that cute applique border"...this was so fiddly to do, just tiny 3 1/2 inch basket blocks..so many tiny points to match up..
I decided to take the easy way out and get this finished, so I just added a 2 inch plain cream border, bound it in a pink spot fabric, and quilted it simply with just to rows of straight stitching.
I love it, it's so sweet and pretty...

The Embroidery girls are coming this morning...must dash and get ready.

  8. Its awesome Julia...and in no need of such a difficult small appliqué border...its darling this way!!and "The Embroidery girls"sounds like a fun group...maybe you won`t get much done but thats not the only purpase of you all..fun and chatting is the main thing...have fun!!
