Another Finish..Crinoline Cushion

I'm working on some finishes for March...while at the same time doing the little Klosjes..
This little embroidery started out to be a runner, but I changed my mind and made it up into a cushion....I think it made up quite lovely and I have just the person who I think might like it...no names!
The lovely fuchsia beaded cushion next to my Crinoline cushion came from Brazil...look at all those little folded tucks caught up with tiny beads...matches and goes beautifully next to my cushion...
This will make it two posts in one day...thought I'd get ahead a bit...off to Patchwork tomorrow, then a sad afternoon, a Dear friend passed away..
Until next time...♥

  1. Love both the cushions Julia. How clever is that pleated one? Also loving your little spools. What size are yours? are they as tiny as Valentina's 2 1/4"? They look like a lot of fun.

Your pillow is wonderful and amazing. I love the needlework and I really like the girl with a umbrella. I am always fascinated with that style of dress.

  10. Thank you for stopping by my blog and for the good wishes for my hubby.
I love your crinoline lady cushion. I remember a set my grandmother had made for me with a similar lady on a pillowcase and the dresser scarf. Unfortunately, these and many other heirlooms have been lost in a house fire (but thanks be to heaven, no people or pets!).
