Sneak Peek...

I'm taking a break from finishing off anymore UFO's for a while...I think I did really well to have four finished for January. I thought I would start a new project, have some fun and a little play to design a quilt..
Here's just a little sneak peek of one corner...sorry I can't show any more just at this stage, as I'm making this quilt up as I go, and not really sure yet how it's going to go..
I LOVE Jacobs Ladder.... they're so easy to do and add a lovely charm to a quilt...I'm hoping to achieve a vintage look to this quilt... I've tea dyed some fabic that was too bright, it's looking good so far...so we'll see how I go..
Until next time...happy stitching...♥

  11. Interesting use of fabrics in the on point border you are creating. They appear to be from different floral fabrics. I like the idea.

  14. I think it's fun to design a quilt top as I go along....that's how I did my first couple of quilt tops (when I was too new to quilting to understand quilt patterns....LOL) This is looking very pretty! Can't wait to see it as you progress with it.

  19. I came back to have a closer look at your siggy quilt and when I did I noticed all the other quilts in the background of your home. We are two peas in a pod because they are all over my place too.

  21. Hi Julia, What pretty new projects you have started. I love the fabrics tea dyed. Thanks for your comment about the chenille bedspreads. I wish I had my great grandmother's and I would at least make some pillows or stuffed animals. I thought of your love of flower baskets when I posted the one photo!!! My love to you and your sweet family.
