New Year Finishes..

On a roll...five days into the new year and I have two finishes!..

Well, this is a great start to 2010...I'm trying to clean up, finish off, use up leftovers and generally get some UFO's finished !..

Here's the Zig-zag quilt on the sofa for now, this may end up going to Brazil with our visitors when they go back in three weeks time.

and here's how I quilted it, simple cross-hatched with a quilted scallop in the border..

Remember these left overs from the Carolina Crossroads mystery quilt done two years ago with Bonnie of Quiltville...just three blocks left and a few nine patches that were also leftovers made this runner..
This runner may also end up going to Brazil with our visitor for her Mum..
Off to see what else I can finish off.
Have a lovely day doing something you love...♥

  10. Wow Julia...I'm impressed and inspired!!! How can you possibly part with the quilt, it is too gorgeous. Love the runner too. You do such beautiful work. Did you do the quilting with a normal machine, or long arm? I really like the quilting in the border. xx
