I Did It !.....

I did it...I washed my DJ...oh I was so nervous while it was washing !

I put two colour catchers in with the wash and as you can see here they came out the palest pink. It's out drying in the shade on the table under the patio....whew, so glad that's done!

It's all good....I'm having a great weekend, Dh, son #2 and I went out to a cafe by the beach and had a lovely breakfast....I hope your all having a wonderful weekend too..
Take care...♥

  3. Your quilt is lovely, I'm glad that everything went well in the wash. I love the socks you made from the previous post. I'm working on my first sock and it sure looks like an amateur is making it. I'm a pretty good seamstress but I have a lot to learn when it comes to knitting.

  7. Well done Julia and congrats for another finished. I had a closed up look at your hand quilting. It stands out beautifully after the washed - Your Sunday sounds nice so far. DH and I just came back from our Sunday Sushi, now we will stay in because it's really hot here in Melbourne. Men's final tonight at the tennis - Hugs Nat

  8. Three cheers for the color catcher. The quilt (at least the corner of the quilt) looks wonderful! Congratulations on crinkling that baby up without any color bleeding disasters. And thanks for rubbing it in that you could take a lovely soujourn to the beach. It is 19 degrees(F) here and snowed all day. Lovely, but, BRRRR.
