That was Christmas 2009 ...

Well, that's it....I'm declaring Christmas 2009 officially over for me......I think I've eaten so much , my tummy needs a rest from all the festive food !

Yesterday was another wonderful day with family.....we got together with DD and Son #2 and their families....
It was so hot ...way too hot to be outside, so we sat inside under the air-con..
My grand daughter received a Wii game for Christmas, and of course we all had to have a go at that....we did the hula-hoop exercise, played golf, tennis...boy, one can really get a good workout from it!
Then, I had my profile done on it...oh dear....it told me I was over weight for my height and age...and by body mass and fitness, that I was quite a few years older than I really am.....I don't think I like that Wii !!....so less sugary treats for me!

Time to get back to my projects...I think I'll work on this zig-zag quilt and the Nine patch swap quilt...see if I can get these two quilts finished
Have a great day...another hot one for us...Take care...♥

  1. I love both quilts but the zig-zag quilt is my favorite. Is it from the Nickel Square book?

  2. Nalley plays golf and baseball with wii and enjoys it. Your quilts are pretty and with the weather so hot, it's good to have projects to work on indoors.

  3. We bought a Wii game for our grand kids this year. Last night we bowled. I don't think I want to know what my real age is, though I probably should.

    Love the zig zag quilt.

  4. LOVE that zig zag quilt. Might I keep the photo in my files so I can try to fashion one for myself at some point? We actually got a Wii for ourselves...hubby is much better at it than I am!

  11. I was really good and didn't over indulge too much but then my chef son isn't here like yours is. Your two quilts on the go look really wonderful. I especially love the nine patch. I think I've decided on what to do with my blocks.

  21. Don't listen to that Wii. It told my trainer he was overweight and older than he is and that is definitely not correct. It doesn't factor muscle mass into the weight. How rude!

I like the sashing on your nine-patch.
