Catching Up.....dear friend

What a wonderful day I had yesterday catching up with my Dear friend Jenni...
We talked and talked so much the day just went before we knew it..
We met on our first job together after leaving school... we both started work in a dressmaking place called Zenith Modes, ...our first job was on the finishing table, cutting off threads, attaching hooks and eyes, making and attaching the rolled fabric roses that we learnt to make..
Here we are above in 1959...young teenagers out having fun!
Jenni moved over to the other side of Australia, but we kept in touch, catching up every few years or so.... and here we are yesterday....years have passed, but our friendship is as strong as ever...we both never had a sister, so I guess we are sisters at heart!
We still have a lot to catch up on...

Until next time....♥

  20. How wonderful that you were able to spend some time together. Sometimes the sisters we choose are more precious and dear than those related by blood. You both look as lovely and beautiful as you did 50 years ago! :~)
