On the Wall...finished!

Finished at last!
I don't know why, but this quilt just does not photograph too well....anyway it's finished and on the wall in my family room for now, later on I'll hang it in my sewing/frame room.
I really do love the hexagons in the squares and could see another quilt later on with these on it.

Now I'm going to try and concentrate on getting my Dear Jane finished....someone please give me a gentle shove to get on with it!..
Can't believe it's Friday already....
Have a lovely weekend and Happy stitching....♥

  7. Julia your quilt looks fabulous.
As far as Dear Jane goes, you are meant to be encouraging me, I am only just starting the first block, its a big step. It means taking the book of the coffee table, replacing it with Dear Hannah and placing Dear Jane beside the sewing machine............... slowly but surely.

  15. Just lovely Julia.
I find it best to photograph outside in natural light to get as close to true colours as possible. Overcast days are good, try to stay out of full, bright sun. If you can't get outside try and get as much natural light through a window on to the quilt. Hope that helps. Its trial and error.
