Still Working on Jane..

Still working on my DJ, now I have section seven ready to go together and be hand-quilted.
Jane's coming along just beautifully

I think I'll have to have a little break from Jane, as much as I love her, she's starting to feel like a bit of a chore. I feel very confidant now that I will be able to get her finished this year, so a little break from Jane will give me a new enthusiasm when I get back to her...

I think I will work on this little stitchery/ quilt that I bought a while back ..it's a lovely old world style embroidery of crinoline ladies and parasols, by Brenda Ryan, called "Petticoats and Posies"

It's Friday...another week gone already. It's cold but sunny here, perhaps some walks along the beach over the weekend and some relaxing times doing my stitchery.
Have a lovely weekend...♥

  2. This looks like a very pretty stitchery. I think sometimes we need breaks from large projects (like your Dear Jane). You have done very well with it recently....so enjoy your well-deserved break from it.

  7. Sometimes a break is just what you need to get the fingers itching to get back to another project. The stitchery looks very pretty and girly.

  9. Maybe Dear Jane needs a vacation, too. Bet she is tired out from all that sewing and tugging and pressing.

Great change for a new project. I can't wait to see it all finished.
