More of Jane..

Busy, Busy working on Jane...spent all day Tuesday hand-quilting the centre medallion.... felt really good until I stopped, then my poor hands froze up!
I am going to need a break from it for a couple of days...I have six sections quilted and ready to go together length ways, then it's just the bottom sections and the borders...still a ways to go, but I can see a little light at the end of the tunnel now!...

Remember this quilt....I'm still waiting for that Teal/Aqua fabric for the borders, I ordered it nearly two weeks ago. Not happy with our postal service at the moment...parcels seem to be taking too long getting through, one lot of fabric I bought from the States took nearly a month to arrive!..
I think I really need to name this quilt...so Caramel & Cream Cake it will be, (C&CC) ..

Also still waiting for my Happy Jack quilting frame...can't wait...I want to play ...always want things yesterday!
Come on Postman...hurry up!

Take care..until next time...♥

  4. You Dear Jane is one of the prettiest I have seen. I love the applique which gives it such a wonderful focal point that I think the original quilt lacked. Another winner in my book!

  8. Fabric Depot has a fabulous special on Kona Cottons at the moment if you are needing any plain colors.
I have had a heap of packages arrive last week. Almost embarrasing. The Hancocks free international shipping accounted for two large bundles of fusible fleece.

  15. Your Jane quilt is delightful. You should be very proud. Rest up your hands and will look forward to seeing the finish. I don't think I would make it in a place where the fabrics aren't just a short drive away. You are a patient woman.
