My Mother's Day..

Just back from a wonderful day up at my son's Joe-Da-Chef...
Joe made up pizzas for the family lunch...17 pizzas in fact...plus special bread with dips and oven roasted capsicum....he makes it look so easy to put together 17 pizzas!
Thank you Joe and Angie, it was a lovely day..

This is all that was left out of 17 pizzas...
Here is DS Laurie and I as we were about to leave, near his treasured baby...an Aussie classic vintage 1961 Holden Ute. Laurie is not long back from 5 months in Brazil, it's so nice to have him home and living near us.
Three of us travelled the one hour drive to Joe's in this...turning a few heads along the freeway on the way up, a bit of a squeeze on the way back...could be because of all the pizzas we ate...excuse the big tummies!
Oh, by the way, in the bag is my present of cuddly foot / massage warmer for the cold wet winter days when they finally get here....we are still having spring like weather, no rain in sight we're told.. ..

I've had a wonderful Mother's Day, I hope you had a wonderful and blessed Mother's Day too...♥

  6. Sounds like a fun-filled day Julia. What a blessing to be surrounded by family. You must be thrilled to have Laurie living closeby after many months away. Laurie's classic auto is amazing. My Dad loved classic autos and so do I. Nice to travel in style for Mother's Day! I can only imagine how tasty Joe's pizzas were! Have a restful evening. You look so radiant in the photo.

  9. Hi Julia

well I must a classic vintage too because I was born in 1961, was a good year, very big grin.

Julia does your son leave the pizzas on the tray while he is cooking them?
We sometimes have trouble and the bottom of the pizza gets burned.

    cheers
