Civil War Quilt....quilted !

Yesterday was our little "Girlfriends Gathering"....I know, not another one!
Lurline, Robin (no blog) and I travelled up together, we had a wonderful day with the girls.
Thank you Kris for a lovely day.... did I tell you I love the quilt on your wall...only about 100 times!
I picked up my Civil War quilt....all beautifully quilted and ready for the binding, sleeve and label.
Sorry it is too big to get the whole quilt into the picture, but these photos will give you an idea on how it quilted and looks..
This is just one corner...

Isn't this just beautiful quilting on the plain background blocks in between the Ohio Star blocks...
Off now to add the binding.
Until tomorrow, take care....♥

  8. That is one good machine quilting job! It really adds to the quilt but does not overtake it.

  11. That is gorgeous! I love Civil War quilts. I am starting on one today myself. It looks like this one was hand quilted too. Am I right? It's just lovely. I prefer the look of hand quilting though it takes so much longer.
