47 years...Memories..

Today is our wedding anniversary.... 47 years today.

I made this memory quilt a couple of years ago, something to leave the family to look back on.

The grand children are all a lot older now...but I think these old photos of when they were young are so precious..
Starting from the bottom left is my Dh at the age of 12 with is mother and father, in the middle are old photos of us two...then to the right are my Mum and Dad.

In the middle row of blocks , from the left...there's me holding up my baby with the two older children nearby holding hands..the centre photo is our wedding photo, you may be able to see more details by clicking on the pic..and on the right (this photo was taken about 4 years ago), we are with our three children , with a photo of my youngest still single son Laurie.

Top row...from the left, my daughter Linda with her family...our five grand children..three of which are now in their twenties..and Jo-da-Chef with is family..

Who said it wouldn't last!....
Happy Anniversary darling.....♥

  23. Julia,

Seriously, I had a dream about this last night. I was probably as I was drifting off to sleep perhaps? I was flipping through the album. I don't recall much more than that. just wanted to tell you.
