Charity Quilts Sewing Bee...lots of photos!

What a fun day we had yesterday!...
Here is the birthday girl herself...she will most likely kill me for posting this photo...
Gwen had the fun idea of making up 60 silly funny presents for the birthday girl...that bag in front is full of 'stuff '..☺...things that kind of go with aging!....
Prune juice, Comforts ( liners for discreet bladder control!!) Menopause pills, Hot pack, neck collar, De gas tablets..etc, some I dare not mention here, but you know what I mean!..

Here's Robin and Gwen toasting Barb...
Carole, Gwen, Teena busy sewing away, putting pink blocks together..

Pat laughing about something,, Lurline watching on, sorry, but that's me with my back to the camera...

We all joined up into little groups(for want of a better word).. These are the pink blocks we chose to work on..
This is the quilt top we ended up with...I will sandwich and quilt it at home... see there's more blocks on the table that the girls are working on!...

Just had to show you Teena's beautiful ' Trip Around the World ' Quilt...it must be king size, it's so big!..
I've lots more photos, but you can see here how much fun we had.

Thanks for stopping by..have a great day....♥

  8. That large bib is a riot! My mother in law had to stay a few days in an elderly home while recovering from knee surgery (she had both done at the same time) Anyway, they gave her a large bib and a 'pee mat' that matched! We thought it was so funny that they were a set and vowed to make her a set for home!

    Thanks for sharing your day!
