At last, I am so happy to post that my darling DH is home for good, minus the 'accessories' he had to carry before.....and as you can see by the smile on his face, he is happy to be home.
Already he is looking at getting back onto his computer, which is a good sign.
He is and always will be a very independent person, and likes to do as much as he can for himself, which is a good thing in a way, but having said that, getting up on the roof to clean the Alsynite himself instead of getting someone else to do it was not a good thing, .....that's something he'll never do again!
I must admit, that I'm a bit paranoid now about him hurting himself again , and will have to try not to fuss and baby him to much, so that he can get his confidence back and look after himself as much as possible.
Now if he would just slow down, and take his time doing stuff....he tends to do everything in top gear!
I'm hoping to get back into my stitching, when we get settled back into some sort of normality, whatever that will be.
My life will never be quite the same again, but at least I have darling Dh home, which is the most important thing.
I'm told his short term memory may come back, but could still take months and he won't be able to drive anymore.
Thank you to my dear friend Lurline, her caring friendship, time and support, helped to lift me up when I was feeling down.
Thank you to my family and friends who helped get me through this...
